Measuring Series

The Measuring Series are pieces of digital prints for the Preview Show for the Malaysia-Poland Cultural Exchange and Art Residency Program, to be held in Poland from July until August 2009. This Art Residency Program will function as an international laboratory for research, education and development in art, architecture and urbanism. Bridging fine arts and architecture through the academic education and research with professional acuity, it is hoped that this program will help in the production and development of innovative knowledge that is applicable to fine arts and architectural practice as part of a transnational discourse and culture interaction.

This series will be exhibited alongside new works from other participating artists, which include Sabri Idrus and Nasir Baharuddin at the Poland Embassy, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur from 19 June until 30 June 2009. The opening of the exhibition will be held at Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with the Third Continental Conference of the Polish Ambassadors from Asia and Pacific on 18 June 2009.
